Instructions

  • 1.   Whisk the eggs, add hot water (about 60 degrees) and whisk. Lightly salt.
  • 2.   Steam for 15 minutes. If using a steamer where water falls onto the contents, cover the preparation.
  • 3.   After scoring the preparation with a knife, add soy sauce and sesame oil. Serve with sliced scallions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Enjoy with a side dish:
    - 1/2 avocado 🥑
    - 150g cooked basmati rice sprinkled with saffron
    - 200g mushrooms sautéed in a pan with garlic and olive oil
