Veal and Chorizo Sauté

Instructions

  • 1.   Slice the onion and cut the peeled chorizo into rounds.
  • 2.   Cut the veal into pieces.
  • 3.   Sauté the veal and sliced onions in oil until browned.
  • 4.   Add the chorizo, tomato pulp, chopped basil, and olives.
  • 5.   Cover and simmer on low heat for at least 1 hour.
  • 6.   This dish is even better when prepared the day before and reheated on the same day.

  • 1 kg of veal shoulder
  • 1 chorizo
  • 2 cup of tomato pulp
  • 1 cup of olive
  • 4 onions
  • 1 bunch of fresh basil
  • 1 bunch of bouquet garni
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoon of oil
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
